Audubon Acres
Years ago Audubon Acres got a grant to mark various species of trees with these interesting Cherokee uses. Who would have thought of so many.
I digitally printed ( solvent ) these onto vinyl which i applied to aluminum panels that are then screwed to angled wooden posts. They should last another 10 years. I have noticed different trees weep various saps, some which are corrosive such as Black Walnut.
Audubon Acres is my backyard, 150 acres of beautiful land to walk on. Come visit sometime.

ANA Woodworks
We replaced some long weathered signs at Carol's showroom entrance. A bit precarious from ladders but with Ron's help we "Got 'er done!"
Used the 1/4" aluminum PVC composite panels and 3M vinyl for the maximum durability.
I need to take actual photos of the before and after!

Building Signage
Last year I designed a new logo for Construction Consultants Inc. and modified it to fit two 24" x 96" signs which i attached to the building's "skeleton", a corner awning structure. The owners have allowed this structure to rust which I think illustrates a building's "bones". I scrubbed the flaking rust from the beam and applied a stencil to spray paint the 1709 address, which with a bit of time will soon blend with a nice patina. The panels were made from a vinyl, aluminum, PVC composite and will last a long time.
No rust, no rot.
Fun project!

3' x 8' Aluminum Signs
I've worked with John Pratt for years and years with his Chattanooga Tree Service first designing his logo back during the last century. I've revised it several times as he used it on his trucks, equipment and lighted sign on East Brainerd Road.
These are heavy duty thick aluminum panels that hold up to the rough work of tree cutting. The orange device pictured is a treaded bucket lift that will allow a man to drive it over yards and not leave ruts. John has all kinds of cranes and lifts to safely access trees, big and small.

Bumper Stickers
I'm posting this project before the end of the month because it's so timely. Chattanooga has seen a steady increase in Covid-19, probably due to the increased testing, but also unfortunately in deaths. An acquaintance called me the other day and wanted to gift mask wearing people these bumper stickers. His plan is to pass them out when he encounters them as they shopped for groceries or other such needed errands. I think this is a wonderful idea.
I gave him a 50% break on the cost since it is such a motivational outreach.

I am printing a smaller version to fit in business envelops ( almost 7" x 3" ) and if you would like a pack of 12, to cover my base expenses, mail a $10 bill to...

Truck Graphics for Mitco
I have been applying graphics to their trucks for years. Mitco ( Mitchell Industrial Tire Company ) have a vast facility near my shop. Their trucks travel Tennessee, Georgia & Alabama servicing forklift tires with these mobile units.
After i finished this truck i was asked to remove old graphics from 2 other trucks they were selling. Whew... that is a messy ordeal! But thankfully it was during pleasant May days.

Van #38 for Foster Electric
I have done a truck yard full of vans for Ted at Foster Electric. His son just picked up #38.
Ted continues to buy the same make and model for all his vans. This is wise on his part as maintenance issues are clearer and all the graphics are the same keeping expenses level. His crew are very busy right now repairing all the damage from the Easter evening tornado that ripped through Chattanooga's East Brainerd area. 14.5 miles of destruction, 145 MPH winds, 1500 yards wide! The EF3 tornado passed over our home and we lost many of our bigger trees on our 4 acres. Many people lost everything.

Logo & Truck for Casey's
Jonah is the son of Josh of All Home Plumbing. Jonah was wanting a logo for his business and we came up with this. Working with his truck color we choose a spring green, cream and white that would contrast and pop off.
Vehicles are an ideal media to display and promote your business.

New Logo for Construction Consultants
I have made signs for this team for years now. The owner Bruce Case helped me with an advance loan to get in my building years ago, helping me gain the down payment needed. Their logo has remained largely unchanged but during the holidays they wanted to consider an abbreviated form, easier to read and speak. I'm a fan of clean and simple designs especially when it comes to logos. We debated about the addition of "I" for Incorporated and decided CCI sounds better than just CC. A little bit of industrial TV crime scene.
I used the two colors from the past logo and a unique letterstyle created to represent Chattanooga. Our first use was Safety vests and hardhats.
