The Managing Partners Mastermind Facebook group was created for managing partners and firm owners who want a focused space to work through growth challenges with peers who understand the responsibility of leading a growing firm.

Inside the group, members discuss experiences, ideas, resources, and practical solutions around leadership, operations, marketing, hiring, delegation, and the decisions that shape how a law firm grows.

It is a private peer group built around direct conversations with firm leaders and legal industry experts.

Most entrepreneurs start by doing everything.

Every decision.
Every task.
Every problem.

At first, it feels necessary.

Then it becomes the bottleneck.

Growth starts when you stop trying to be the expert in everything.

And start hiring people who are better than you. 🚀

A lot of managing partners stay close to brand and marketing because they care deeply about the firm.

They built the reputation. They know the clients. They understand what the firm is supposed to become.

That instinct makes sense, but it can also keep too much sitting on one person’s plate.

Growth requires a different kind of leadership. It means building enough clarity, structure, and trust that other people can carry important parts of the work without everything needing to run back through the managing partner.

The same is true for marketing.

A firm cannot scale if brand, visibility, intake, and follow-up all depend on one person’s bandwidth. The system has to be clear enough for the right people to execute, improve, and stay aligned.

Delegation is not stepping away from growth.

It is creating the structure that allows growth to move without waiting on you.

People love sharing their wins.

The promotions.
The growth.
The milestones.

But the stories people remember are often the setbacks.

The failures.
The lessons.
The moments that felt impossible.

Because success inspires.

But vulnerability connects.

Prospective clients often experience more than one version of your firm before they decide to reach out. They may find a page, see a post, watch a video, read a review, or hear about you from someone they trust.

Each interaction either strengthens confidence or creates friction.

That is why social media needs to connect to the larger growth system. When it reinforces the same positioning, reputation, and authority people find everywhere else, it helps the firm stay recognizable and credible before someone decides to reach out.

Growth becomes easier to sustain when every part of the firm’s presence works in the same direction.

A lot of leaders worry about helping employees build their personal brand.

What if they leave?

What if another firm hires them?

But hiding great people isn’t a strategy.

Great people are often your best ambassadors.

And the strongest cultures give people room to grow.

Because when people can be themselves, they’re more likely to stay.

The question isn't whether your firm has core values.

It's whether they're influencing the decisions you make every day.

Because anyone can build a business.

The question is what you're building it for.

Stronger relationships...
A stronger community...
A stronger firm...

Or simply a larger bank account?

Referral-driven firms can grow, but referrals alone are difficult to scale.

The opportunity is building a system that makes growth more consistent.

For Torres & Zheng, that meant creating the foundation the firm had not built yet: a clearer website, stronger online visibility, content aligned to the firm’s practice areas and local markets, and local visibility designed to convert search demand into consultations.

Within 90 days, our system generated 270 form submissions, 320 website conversions, and 601K organic impressions.

The result was more than increased visibility.

It was creating a repeatable growth system the firm could keep building on.

Your reputation is built by your interactions, not just your clients.

The person who never got a callback.
The person who filled out a form and never heard back.
The person who called your firm looking for help and left frustrated.

None of them hired you. Yet every one of those interactions can impact how your firm is perceived.

On the flip side, some of your best reviews may come from people who never signed a case. They simply had a great experience, got pointed in the right direction, or felt genuinely helped.

Every conversation matters.

The firms that understand this don't treat intake as a screening process. They treat it as a reputation-building opportunity.
