J-TECH J-Tech Highway Safety | Helping Make Roads Safer Workplaces Another opportunity to diversify presented itself in 2003. We have put two 6000 sq. ft.

COMPANY HISTORY
Having established our reputation for excellent customer relationship skills and workmanship, J-Tech was approached by Betts Industries of Warren, Pennsylvania to explore their desire to enhance customer service capabilities by designating J-Tech as the only authorized repair facility for Betts Industries in the USA (a designation we still hold today). J-Tech accommodates all of th

e rebuilding and remanufacturing needs of the Tank Truck Industry, with the most modern and extensive facility of its kind in the continental United States. In 1996, J-Tech once again extended its vision of rebuilding tank truck related components by expanding their services to include the rebuilding of tank cleaning spinners. Since then, J-Tech has become an industry recognized expert on the repair and maintenance of spinners and is the only authorized repair facility for Sellers Cleaning Systems, the premier manufacturer of tank cleaning machines in the world. J-Tech was approached by JJ Kane Auctioneers, PPL, Public Service Electric and Gas, Peco, and Con Edison Company and was asked to transport their respective surplus vehicles and equipment to the JJ Kane Auction yard for disposal. J-Tech was also asked to decommission certain groups of vehicles for these companies in preparation for their disposal at auction. Currently J-Tech handles approximately 1000 vehicles per year for the above mentioned companies. Due to our increased growth, we moved from our original location to a larger facility in 1997. Again in 1999, we had to move to a larger property which is our present location in Chester Springs, PA. additions onto our current location, one in 2003 and one in 2007. The one common thread between our divisions is we provide the highest level of customer service, and we do this with honesty, integrity, and dependability. J-Tech will continue to expand by providing the same customized quality service that has won the respect and trust of our customers.

An exploded tire in the road may feel like a momentary inconvenience as you drive around it, but did you know that almost 40% of crashes are caused by swerving?

Road debris is a daily danger for both motorists and crews who are tasked with clearing it. We’re honored to support I-66 Express Mobility Partners with custom Incident Response Vehicles featuring our LaneBlade®, designed to protect crews, remove debris quickly, and keep traffic flowing.

This 4th of July, we want to thank the roadway construction crews, first responders, and infrastructure maintenance workers who are on the ground every day keeping traffic moving and keeping us connected.

Staying alert behind the wheel is how we all respect and protect those with their boots on the ground. So whether you’re driving just down the road or on a long trip to the beach this weekend, let's look out for one another. Avoid distractions, give work zones plenty of room, and make sure everyone gets home safe.

Have a happy 250th Independence Day, everyone!

As this year's National Work Zone Awareness Week comes to a close, we want to share a reminder to slow down and pay attention when traveling through a highway work zone. A work zone is a shared space where a split-second distraction can change a life forever. Let's drive with the patience we'd want others to show for us.

We’re excited to see the new SR 400 Incident Response Unit heading onto the roads of Georgia this April, and we’re proud that the LaneBlade® is part of its build.

The LaneBlade® makes the dangerous job of clearing roadway debris significantly safer. The blade lowers flush to the ground and allows the operator to clear the way from the safety of the cab instead of running on foot into active traffic. The LaneBlade® also reduces lane closure time by clearing incident debris faster than manual methods so drivers can get moving again.

We appreciate the Georgia DOT and Peach Partners for putting their trust in us, and we’re proud our LaneBlade® is out there protecting their drivers and the Georgia public.
