Here’s what “the infrastructure behind your business” actually means, and three ways to start looking at it right now.
1 See where your hours are actually going. Not what you think. What your calendar and your inbox actually show. Most business owners are surprised by the answer.
2 Notice what you keep deferring. If something’s been on your “fix this” list for six months, it’s either harder than a solo effort can handle or your gut is telling you it doesn’t matter. Both are useful information.
3 Look at money in and money out at the category level. Not down to the receipt — just tools, labor, marketing, everything else. If you can’t say those numbers off the top of your head, that’s the gap.
