I wandered the grounds of one of Michigan’s most beautiful tucked-away venues, surrounded by familiar faces, new names, and hundreds of incredibly talented wedding professionals.
It’s really easy for me to stay in my comfort zone, to keep my head down, focus on my work, and let what I create speak for itself.
Walking into a room full of people I don’t know can still feel a little intimidating, even after all these years in business.
But I’m so proud of myself for showing up.
So, thank you to those I already knew for being a friendly, familiar face in a room full of people. And to those I hadn’t met yet, thank you for introducing yourself, starting a conversation, or simply saying hello.
And finally, thank you to Jenn and Greencrest Manor for creating a space for all of us to do exactly that, to connect, build new relationships, catch up with old ones, and feel a little bit more connected to the community we’re lucky to be a part of. 🫶🏼
