Forgot to share this pic of the 90 or so Female Fire Firefighters that we feed a couple weeks ago. This was actually the Sunday 2 days after the tornado ripped through downtown.
This was at the Florissant Fire House 1. They simulate real emergency situations, such as car recks, in which they cut the car apart, repelling off a building, and so much more. I honestly can’t remember all the details, but you can check the program out on the Florissant Fire Protection page.
Tomorrow, is going to be amazing weather for Frontier Park’s food truck night. We serve from 5-8. Info on that is on a previous post.
Aside from sharing, what we thought is a cool pic, we want to again ask ya for your daily vote to Stlmag. com, AList poll. Only a few more days to vote, then I PROMISE I’ll stop reminding you. Lol. Visit their website to vote (which I’m not going to post because i think the algorithms restrict its reach). Just scroll back to previous post and the link is there.
Wednesday, we will be back in the city fully loaded to feed hundreds and hundreds of people still in need.
And I’ll throw this out there now also… we will be closed all next week (June 15th-21st) for a much needed vacation. This family vacation was booked 6 months ago, and can’t come at a better time after what we have been doing almost non stop for the last 3 weeks. And after we get back, we will pick up right where we left off… feeding the residents, veterans, and workers in the tornado damaged areas. There is still a WHOLE LOT TO BE DONE, but improvements are being made.
C y soon, and thanks for your continued support!!!
