No-Name Technologies Inc (NNT Solutions). Moore and Michael A. Johnson.

Since 2001 NNT Solutions has been providing Computer, Networking, Cloud, Cloud, Voice & Various Other Information Technology Solutions, Services & Support for both business & consumers. was established January 21st 2001, by Steven W. Steve and Mike met as active duty soldiers stationed together at the 5th Ranger Training Battalion, Camp Merrill in Dahlonega, Georgia. In early 2000, the Ranger Trai

ning Brigade started to deploy a more advanced computer system throughout the brigade due to the geographic disbursement of the Battalions (Camp Merrill was three hours away from the headquarters of RTB in FT Benning, GA). Steve and Mike were tasked to set up, support, and administer the entire network and automation system across Camp Merrill (5th RTB) installation. Their primary responsibility was to support and oversee all tactical communications. The project rapidly expanded to include the design, deployment, administration, and support for the entire installation level Computer Infrastructure and Automation system. As a part of their duties on this project, Steve and Mike had to adapt and learn quickly, as well as, learn and deploy a system with limited resources. They gained experience and insight working with multiple people and vendors. Working on this project gave them familiarity with DOD regulations and Army security protocols, all while tasked to coordinate with multiple people/entities on a limited budget and with limited resources. Through this experience, Mike and Steve saw an opportunity to serve small and mid-sized businesses that battle the same challenges they experienced in working in the Army together. NNT began humbly, but has stayed true to their values and principles; always maintaining honor and integrity, demonstrate attention to detail in all that they do, take ownership of the problem, be accountable even if mistakes are made, take pride in all that they do, be mindful of their reputation, care for the equipment, job site, work area, and appearance, and above all, always endeavor to uphold the values, integrity, honor and mission of not just NNT, but themselves and their clients. Since 2001 NNT Solutions has been providing Computer, Networking, Other Information Technology Solutions, Services & Support for businesses & consumers across all across Georgia, the United States and even across the globe for over 20 years and counting. In late 2016 NNT Expanded its foot print to NNT Solutions - Texas and adding David Ray White as its co-founder as well as it's Executive Vice President. This new expansion provides a more localized benefit to its already existing customer base located in Bryan \ College Station, Texas and Surrounding Area's. Prior military, education, and real-world experience in small, mid and large organizations have not only proven invaluable to the current success shown over these past 20 years but will continue to pave the way in order to meet the demands, threats and concerns of our customers, their mission, whenever & wherever they need us. By Land, Sea or Air! We WILL accomplish the mission!

Microsoft says Russian group behind SolarWinds attack now targeting IT supply chain:

Microsoft on Monday warned that the same Russian group behind the SolarWinds cyber attack in 2020 has been attempting to “replicate” that approach, now targeting organizations “integral” to the global IT supply chain — specifically resellers and technology service providers.

Understanding How Facebook Disappeared from the Internet

Today at 1651 UTC, we opened an internal incident entitled "Facebook DNS lookup returning SERVFAIL" because we were worried that something was wrong with our DNS resolver 1.1.1.1. But as we were about to post on our public status page we realized something else more serious was going on.

NNT Solutions - Security awareness letter

Good Evening, I am David from NNT Solutions. We hope this note finds you doing well.

As your partner in cyber security and safety, we wanted to make you aware of an advisory that was put out this week by the FBI and CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency). The advisory (linked below) does not reference any specific future cyber threat, rather it speaks to the general increased potential for ransomware attacks over holiday weekends.

The advisory provides both immediate and longer-term actions organizations can take to protect against the rise in ransomware, with links to further information intended to protect both your systems and data and those of your customers. Some of these near-term actions include:
• Making an offline backup of your data
• Avoiding clicking on suspicious links
• Updating OS and software
• Using strong passwords

Please note, we are sharing this information only because we are your partner in the fight against cybercrime. The measures noted above and in the advisory are good general recommendations to employ no matter the systems you run and are not specific to the solutions provided by NNT.

NNT and its partners invest heavily in delivering the highly secure products, services, and 24/7 system monitoring that you’ve come to expect, and this investment extends to communications such as this which are meant to serve as another layer of defense against cybercrime.

Please be safe and have a great holiday weekend.

Today, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and CISA released a Joint Cybersecurity Advisory (CSA) to urge organizations to ensure they protect themselves against ransomware attacks during holidays and weekends—when offices are normally closed.

New Vulnerabilities with On-Premise Exchange Servers

A new series of vulnerabilities have been identified by Microsoft and other information security entities, and are associated with on-premise versions of Microsoft Exchange servers version 2013 and later. It’s important to note that unlike the Exchange vulnerabilities discovered last month, which were already being exploited by the Hafnium group, these vulnerabilities do not yet appear to have been exploited in the wild.

If you are a client with on-premise Exchange servers and you have contracted with us to manage patching, then we will be contacting you shortly to schedule deployment of these patches during an appropriate period. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your service delivery manager.

If you are not contracted for managed patching, but you do have on-premise exchange servers, we recommend you identify a maintenance window in the coming days and apply the new round of April patches. It’s only a matter of time before attackers begin trying to exploit these systems.

As more information is developed we will adapt our detection and response tools to notify us in cases when these exploits are detected.

Microsoft Apologizes ‘Deeply’ For Worldwide Azure, Teams Outage

Microsoft on Tuesday apologized for a worldwide outage that impacted Azure cloud services including Microsoft Teams, Office 365 and Dynamics 365.

03/09/2021

Dear NNT Partners

Last week, it was widely reported that four previously unknown or “zero-day” vulnerabilities in Microsoft’s Exchange Server software were being actively exploited by cyber attackers suspected to be associated with a foreign government. These defects could allow attackers to steal data or deploy malicious software to unpatched Exchange Servers.

Our Hosted Exchange Services Team began applying patches to address these vulnerabilities immediately after Microsoft made them available. In parallel, with the help of one of the cybersecurity firms credited with discovering these defects, our security team began looking for evidence as to whether we were affected. We can report that, to date, we see no evidence that these Exchange vulnerabilities have led to any unauthorized access to our Hosted Exchange Services’ or your hosted Microsoft Exchange systems, applications, or data.

The security and availability of your data is our highest priority, and to that end we employ advanced threat detection technologies across our infrastructure that help us detect and block cyber-attacks. We monitor our systems around the clock both with our own dedicated global security personnel along with trusted security partners, and our operations team quickly applies critical security patches when they become available.
Any further patches that are released will be promptly applied by our team. There is no action you need to take at this time.
Thank you all for being a NNT Partner.

Sincerely,

DAVID WHITE - MCP
