How do we rebuild our company culture? 🤔

“Begin with the end in mind” is always good advice, and it’s particularly important for leaders who are embarking on the task of re-establishing their company’s culture. This is an opportunity for a re-set.

It behooves leaders to consider what cultural attributes are essential for future growth, and focus on developing those, rather than simply attempting to re-create the company’s pre-pandemic culture.

Rebuilding starts with ensuring the company’s purpose and values are aligned with cultural objectives. Involving employees in identifying the desired cultural attributes is the next step, followed by taking a moment to ensure the business isn’t misaligned with and working against the cultural objectives.

As remote and hybrid work make up the majority of the workforce, leaders are wondering how to rebuild company culture. Find out how.

Employee engagement programmes can generate energy and momentum within a business. Here’s how to do it.

Engaging employees begins with finding out what they’re thinking and feeling and is usually done via an employee engagement survey. However, that’s just the beginning. Success depends upon what leaders do with the survey's employee feedback and insights.

Our simple “Rule of 3” framework makes it simple and impactful.

- Respond to employee survey results within 3 weeks
- Pick 3 areas of improvement to focus on
- Communicate your action plan 3 ways
- Communicate your action plan 3 times

The flywheel effect describes momentum from small wins leading to continued improvement. Find out how to use it in your engagement strategy.

You’ve been interviewing job candidates for a few weeks and you find someone who appears to be a great fit. They have all of the skills you were looking for, are excited about your company’s future, and are ready to tackle the tasks at hand. But, have you shared your company values with them?

If not, it’s probably time to take a step back and do so.

According to Qualtrics, 46% of employees in the United States and the United Kingdom say they would consider leaving their company because it does not adequately exemplify the values they personally hold.

So if you’re not sharing your core values with candidates, you’re more likely to see turnover in the future. Here are some simple ways you can attract candidates who align with your company .

Do you share your core company values with job candidates? If not, you should. Find out how sharing company values can help you hire better.

The use of annual surveys appears to be a growing trend demonstrated by boosts in search volume and references in tender documents. The instinct to reach out to employees is a good one. However, the idea of using an annual survey to do so is not.

Annual surveys are huge endeavors and thus more likely to fail. They also deliver a skewed and incomplete view of workforce sentiment due to recency bias.

The better approach: surveying employees at consistent intervals throughout the year, and enabling leaders to “play the game they can win."

Annual employee surveys only capture a snapshot in time. Find out what our experts recommend instead to fuel continued employee engagement.

The best workplaces are those that listen to employees and act upon their feedback in a way that benefits both the enterprise and its employees, but the idea of inviting employee feedback can be a daunting one.

Engagement Multiplier's founder & CEO, Stefan Wissenbach, created a simple framework based on years of surveying teams and synthesising feedback that makes the task efficient and manageable. It's called “The DARE Approach”: Define, Ask, Refine, and Engage.

These four steps can help you advance your business by using input from your employees efficiently and productively.

The key to gathering structured employee feedback is the Dare Approach™. Find out how you can use it to ensure valuable, manageable feedback.
