CyberConnect LLC has been providing users with online gaming products since March 2005.

Mike W. - Game designer, he is the one who came up with the original concept for this new game. Since then, it grew from his original idea of a single player RPG, to a cooperative online game. Mike T. - Gaming enthusiast, he brings a LOT of conceptual ideas to the table. A huge R

PG and gaming fan, Mike brings a lot of fresh ideas to the table about the game. He truly is a creative individual, having the gift of expanding a lot of the ideas we have come up with, into full game mechanics. Brian W. - Computer Scientist, he keeps our heads out of the clouds. The most conservative of the group, Brian has had a knack at finding loopholes in design concepts, a skill which he has gained from breaking many table-top RPGs in the past. Brian has never been much of a hardcore gamer, instead loving games with fun mechanics and interesting story. Joe S. - Mathematician, he tends to be able to add the details, and bring it all together. Bringing the abstract into realistic functionality is his specialty, allowing the concepts and the details to merge as one. Problem solving and logic are his skills, all of which help bring the project from mere thought, to actuality.

Major request - I am looking for one or two individuals with some moderate Photo Shop (or other image editing software) experience. I have a bunch of new Player Sprites (finally moving on to 32x64) that need to be sliced up, correctly aligned, and have some re-coloring done.

Please respond here if you are interested. A negotiable monetary compensation is a possibility, depending on speed, quality, and availability.

DirectX 8 Conversion has been completed. Started rebuilding the GUI system, and got a decent dent in it. Maybe a screen shot later today.

I would appreciate if people could please take a look at the Note I posted (the Pre-Launch To-Do List) and comment if there is anything else they would like seen added. Please keep requests realistic. Keep in mind that the more on the list, the longer it will take me to get things up and running - but also we will all benefit from the polish and cleaning up of the game.

One of the biggest issues with "The World" was balancing between classes. Time and time again, it was brought up how Wavemasters were over powered. One of the things I am doing before relaunch, is fixing these balancing issues - Wavemaster being the first. I just wrapped up initial testing on the new spell system.

For those of you familiar with how the backend of The World works, all stats for spells had to be done manually - this caused balancing issues (such as some powerful spells costing low SP, and weak spells costing a lot of SP, damage being inconsistent, etc).

The new system has the server generate ALL spells through an algorithm I set up. From my initial testing, things seem MUCH more balanced (my level 99 Wavemaster could not one shot monsters in Theta server).

Due to demand I will be restarting TW2D when I get home. All accounts will be upgraded to level 100 with a free TB and AIDA sample for the few years of downtime. Crafting and gear enhancement has been added in, graphics cleaned up, and player housing, plus a new dungeon I convinced Eye to make for us a few months ago.

So I got an email today about the domain name expiring in the next few weeks. Part of me wants to keep it and part of me wants to let it go. Ideas on what to do with it if I keep it?
