One of the things I am most thankful for is this fine man right here…my fiancé, my BFF, my ride or die (sometimes lol) and my forever love. ❤️

We’re a little less than 6 months away from the wedding which is insane to think about, but I can’t wait to say I do. So excited that next year is our year! 😍👰🏽‍♀️💍🤵🏿‍♂️

Can’t believe it’s the final day of 2020! With this insane year coming to a close, rather than focusing on all the negatives, I’m choosing instead look at all the blessings that came out of this year. Even though this year was rough, this was probably one of the best years for personal growth that I’ve ever had. Taking a second to reflect and count these blessings:

1. Health and safety (for me and all my family, friends and loved ones) ❤️
2. Turned the big 3-0! 🥳
3. Got engaged to the love of my life! 💍
4. Completely debt-free 💸
5. Crushed my savings goals 💰
6. Raised over $2,500 for the BLM Movement ✊🏽
7. Worked on countless amazing brands & projects 👩🏽‍💻
8. Got to spend time at home 🏡
9. Closer relationship with God 🙏🏽
10. Made it out alive! 🙌🏽

Thankful for all of these blessings in 2020 and looking forward to bringing in 2021! Happy New Year! 🎊

On this one I played around with elevating each level to create a little floating effect, which def made this one the toughest of the 3. But loving these shadows tho! What y’all think?

Yesterday I had a chance to just create with no pressure, no deadlines and no interruptions. I honestly can’t remember the last time I was able to do that. It felt really good!

The election is only 49 days away.

Now I’m not one who usually talks politics, but with one of the most important elections our nation has ever seen right around the corner, this isn’t the time to be silent. I will proudly be voting for Joe Biden. I believe he will help us to create real change and turn things around for the better. I believe he will work to protect both women’s rights and civil rights. I believe he will help us better manage and eventually overcome this pandemic. And I believe he and Kamala Harris truly care about the future of America.

What the campaign needs more than anything is a visible show of support. We need to rally anyone who’s thinking about sitting it out or voting 3rd party and unite behind Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. We’ve got to RISE UP against the racist, misogynist, divisive [insert just about any other unpresidential trait you can think of here] man that is currently running our country. We’ve got to commit to SHOW UP at the polls or through our mail in ballots. And we’ve got to UNITE behind the the candidate that has a real chance at getting our country back on the right path.

So a couple weeks ago I hit 10K followers! Like whaaat!?? Crazy right?!

It’s hard to imagine that there are that many of you out there following my little corner of the internet. But I just had to take a minute to say THANK YOU—for the love, support, likes, shares, encouraging words…literally all of it! You all are so amazing and help keep me going. And what better way to show my appreciation than with a giveaway!

I will be giving away 2 framed brush lettered prints (swipe 👉🏽) to spread a little positivity and encouragement! The first print is a piece that I did at the very end of 2019, as a reminder that your potential can only be limited by you. Whatever you set your mind to and put your actions behind, the you have the ability to achieve. The second piece is a message that I think we all need constantly need to hear, especially with all of the challenges that 2020 has brought. We have to keep our strength, stay positive & encouraged, and just keep going. We got this!
