This estate sale in Hammond (who knew, right??) is a cacophony of collecting insanity. In the best possible, jaw dropping, OMG kind of way.

Collections like this - ones hiding a proboscidean tusk, a Chou Dynasty chariot fitting, Carrera marble pillars, scrimshaw, stained glass, and decades of bronze statues, alabaster, fine art, original artwork, vintage Hudson Bay blankets, furs, Buffalo Metal Works lighting, and enough silver for clouds, spoons, tongues, and bullets - do NOT come along often.

Fifty years in one of Wilmette’s oldest homes (1928!) means the good stuff is deep in here. 🏠

Wicker furniture, Peter Rabbit collectible figurines. A 1920s Lyon & Healy banjo, a signed Impressionist oil, abstract artwork, French Provincial Ethan Allen furniture, and so many vintage sports & trading cards they’re selling them by weight. Plus quilts, yarn, toys, and vinyl. Because people need cozy hobbies.
