New PPTools Merge users sometimes run into a few minor bumps getting things set up and working properly the first time around. I've put together a simple video demo of the basics. Have a look:

Caroline Wanga makes a powerful (and very accessible) case for diversity and inclusion. Look her up on Google ... she's a POPULAR speaker. You'll see why.

And here's a quote from her that I love:

"I make PowerPoints because they're corporate comfort food."

She had me right there.

Sometimes we work on slides that include shapes or images that are larger than the slides themselves, or that hide one or more slide edges.
That can make it hard (well, impossible!) to judge where the edges of the slides ARE. And what will appear during slideshows. Or in printouts.
We've written a little macro that will automatically (and instantly) add an outline around each slide in the current presentation. Anything inside the outline will appear in slideshows/printouts. Anything outside won't.
Oh, and of course there's another macro that REMOVES the outlines if you no longer need them.
Enjoy!

Way belated shout-out to the folks at Advanced Installer (https://www.advancedinstaller.com/). It's an amazingly deep and powerful tool for creating software installation programs. It can take a little while to wrap your head around it, but that's been true of every really excellent bit of software I've ever used and stuck with over time. It's WELL worth the time it takes to learn it. Master it? I'm nowhere NEAR that place, but running hard toward it.

If you're a StarterSet Plus user, you'll like a feature we've just added. Before: you could use the insert picture tool to add a picture to the current slide. Now: you can select multiple pictures instead of just one; when you do that, the tool adds the first picture to the current slide, then duplicates the current slide once for each selected picture and adds a picture to each new slide.

PPtools ImageExporter can now export much higher resolution images than previously. If you have PowerPoint 2013 or 2016 you can use ImageExporter to create images of up to 15,000 (yes, you read that right: FIFTEEN thousand) pixels, five times the previous limit. The cost of this amazing update? Nada. Nil. Null. Nothing. It's free; just download and install the latest version from http://www.pptools.com/downloads.htm and it's all yours.
