In the ever-evolving world of tech, 24 years at one company is more than a milestone, it’s a legacy. Today, as part of our Women's History Month celebration, we are honoring our Lead Analyst & Database Administrator, Missy Howell. 📈💻

For over two decades, Missy has been the guardian of our mission-critical systems. She has skillfully led our technical evolution—mastering everything from SQL to Oracle and now PostgreSQL—to ensure Powernet’s infrastructure remains modern and precise. 🛡️

But Missy’s impact goes far beyond database management; she represents the progress and resilience of women in technology. When we asked her what it means to lead in a women-owned IT business, she shared: "After many long years of women in STEM being unrecognized... we are finally out of the shadows and in the light—where we belong. Those pioneering women are the reason why I can shine in a field I love today." 💡

Missy is a living example of that light. By embracing every new technology that comes her way, she continues to pave the way for the next generation of women in data to shine just as brightly.

SKO 2026 is officially in the books! ✅

We’ve spent the last few days in deep strategy sessions, aligning our 2026 roadmap and focusing on how we can be even more efficient for our partners and clients. 🏛️💻

While we enjoyed the team-building and the energy of being together, the focus on our future goals was even better. We’re walking away with a clear vision, new tools in our belt, and a lot of momentum to make this our best year yet. 🚀

Last week, we had a fantastic time hosting an in-person training session that focused on bringing even better customer service to you.

After all that hard work, it was great to unwind with a little team gathering after hours. So nice to grab a drink and have some fun with coworkers outside the office!
