Blazor Studio

Blazor Studio 2.0 is being finalized and should be released by the end of the year. We've added support for WASM Hosted solutions, Docker, OIDC in Blazor Server and WASM hosted templates, API endpoints for SQL indexes, as well as template fixes and more features.

We are also creating tutorial videos for the community and hope to have a few ready for release. If anyone has requests for video content (tutorial or examples), contact us and we'll add your requests to our list.

We are also building demo sites and production sites for a desert tortoise rescue, and diamond seller. Look for these in upcoming release.

Each day we move closer to our next release of Blazor Studio 2.0!

This release supports VS2022 as well as VS2019, and includes our new form designer letting you customize layouts for components and pages allowing for multiple data sources and visual sections on a single page. Custom components can be built separately and then stacked on the page. Data sources for components can be bound to other components resulting in cascading elements giving your users a rich editing experience.

We've added more callback handlers and have provided for query filters, implementing parent/child relationships by using the data source model's foreign keys, extending your ability to query data sources including sql views.

We are very excited about these improvements which have been in development since August 2021.

We are looking for a few interested developers who are interested in pre-release versions of this next version who can provide valuable feedback on how Blazor Studio can be improved, and what needs to be included in training videos and documentation. Apologies for the absence. We have been working on a component/form designer since August, and refactoring all the templates with additional HTML controls, query filters, collections, asset management, and providing support for Visual Studio 2022 and themes. We are about 30 days away from completing this refactor and will be releasing both a VS2019 and VS2022 version around the end of February. Thanks for your patience! We are excited about this release. Just released! Blazor Studio now supports the creation of WebAssembly applications! The latest release includes new templates to support Blazor WebAssembly application types in addition to Blazor Server apps. You can now create Blazor WebAssembly web applications with no-code or low-code effort.

In this tutorial, we walk thru the creation of a Blazor Studio solution, configure the Northwind database as our data source, and generate a basic Blazor web application with a single model and view to display records in the database.
