This PC came in recently w/ an unknown issue.
The computer would randomly make grinding noises & shut off intermittently.
The customer assumed it was the fan that was attached to the CPU cooler. (It was actually a premature failure of the water pump)

Upon inspection, the PC was idling at a crispy 97*C the radiator was caked with dust as well as every other vent on the case.

After a thorough cleaning, I realized the CPU backplate was cracked causing the cooler to sit lobsided on the CPU.
After installing a new cooler and bracket we are back to a cool 40*C at Idle!
