An important message from WSSE-DB ...

We have been warning you that, as of this evening at midnight CDT (-5:00 UTC), WSSE's original stream, which is listed on InternetRadio as WSSE/G & M Broadcasting, will cease to operate. The second stream, WSSE-DB Cloud, is fully functional and will be the official stream for WSSE. We hope that all of you who have been listening to the first will switch over to the second. All other lists that WSSE-DB is a part of already has the updated information.

A reminder from WSSE-DB:

A couple of weeks ago, we told you about a change coming up. In 10 days, the stream we have used to broadcast the last 5 years will be no longer operational. We have, however, acquired another (and better) stream so we are still alive and well. On July 1, some of you might not find us as readily as you have. But fear not ... there are many ways you can listen to WSSE and continue to get the best music mix and entertaining programs.

A word to our faithful WSSE-DB listeners ...

First of all, thank you so much for continuously tuning in and enjoying the programming we have for you. If you follow us closely, you know what comes up in 41 days - our 5th birthday. You have heard me say that, when Robert and I came up with the concept of WSSE and actually put it on the air, we would both have been elated if we made it through that first Christmas and that was it. We would have lived a dream we have had for so many years. (By the way, today would have been Robert's 66th birthday - he is still very missed.) Because of you, our listeners, because of the generosity of several of you who have helped us with all the rising fees and licensing involved, and - above everything else - because a loving God has blessed our little station with sustained growth and many more blessings, WSSE-DB survives and is looking forward to several more years. Thank you and much love to you all.

One major change is presently in the works at WSSE. Just as terrestrial stations use a transmission system so you can hear them, online stations require leasing a stream and using encoding software so you can listen anywhere and on any device. The company that leases our current stream will shut down those particular servers on 7/22/2022 (the stream WSSE is using will shut down 6/30/2022). Thankfully, we have gotten a new stream which has been up and running very well for the last two weeks and we have been working hard to make sure the current stream information is included everywhere it needs to be. WSSE-DB is listed in approximately 30 internet station directories worldwide, so should you be listening and suddenly not hear us, just refresh your information and we'll be right there. If you need more details, you can always write to us at [email protected] and we will provide all the assistance we can.

A WSSE-DB programming note:

Due to weather conditions, many churches have cancelled services or have gone online. WSSE-DB offers an alternative. Every Sunday morning from 7:00 AM till noon CST, we broadcast sound Gospel lessons, direct from God's Word. At 9:00 there will be one hour of gospel singing. We know you will be uplifted and edified if you tune in to WSSE. If you can't get out, or the leaders where you attend have called off services at the building, we offer the next 4+ hours as an alternative.
