Today we are sharing a fresh case in our portfolio on Behance, but before we give a link to it, it makes sense to talk a little about a relatively new development area, femtech, for which the Labour mobile app was developed.
Femtech is technologies and products in the field of women's health and well-being. The term was coined by one of the co-founders of the menstrual cycle tracker “Clue,” Ida Tin, in 2016 to draw the attention of investors and the media to products and technologies that improve the lives and health of women. Since that time, the culture of caring for women’s health in the digital context has gradually begun to spread and strengthen in consciousness, and at the moment there are already about 1.5 thousand international companies developing such applications. Half of them fall into three categories: pregnancy and motherhood (18.6%), menstrual health (16.5%) and reproductive health (16.1%).
So Labour, which we worked on as designers and developers with our client from the USA, covers 3 categories at once. We will talk about this in detail separately in the article, but for now we are sharing a design case: https://www.behance.net/gallery/191644727/Femtech-Mobile-App-Labour
