There’s something special about being part of a first.

The Summerland Bobcats have teed off on a new chapter this season with the school’s first-ever girls golf team — 11 golfers learning the game, finding their swings and discovering that golf is as much about mindset as it is about the shot.

Some came with experience. Others were almost complete beginners. But they all stepped onto the course willing to learn, improve and, most importantly, enjoy the game.
