Dont let this happen to your battery. Batteries should never be stored for long periods of time without charge, it diminishes the charging ability. When batteries start going bad they may swell up such as in the picture below. They may also go from a large percentage to next to nothing in a matter of minutes. Its good to replace a battery every 12 to 18 months. Have other battery questions? Please let us know.
