It was a delight to join our fellow CMA Supporters this morning for a Leadership Circle breakfast and conversation with William M. Griswold, Sarah S. and Alexander M. Cutler Director.

The event began in Gartner Auditorium with Dr. Griswold in conversation with Emerging Leadership Circle member Jeremiah Guappone.

After the talk we enjoyed breakfast in the Ames Family Atrium

Recently, Our Managing Director, Kevin Goodman was on hand Thursday. The YMCA of Greater Cleveland proudly marked the ribbon-cutting of the YMCA's Y Haven's $7 million renovation. Y-Haven is a residential recovery facility supporting individuals overcoming homelessness and addiction.

The event featured remarks from YMCA of Greater Cleveland Board Chair LaRese Purnell, Y-Haven Executive Director Ed Gemerchak, MA, MSW, LISW-S, and YMCA of Greater Cleveland President & CEO Tim Hilk. Awesome to hear from residents Naeema and Nathaniel, whose courageous stories reminded all why this work matters—Y-Haven is giving people their lives back. Every day, day in and day out, hashtag # SavingLives, Kevin was on hand as Councilperson Richard Starr shared his enthusiasm for YHaven and its radical improvement in his ward - it was crystal clear!

The renovated facility now provides a dignified, comfortable, and healing environment that fosters recovery and stability. This milestone was made possible through the generosity of funders, partners, and community supporters. Together, the YMCA's efforts are advancing well-being and belonging across Greater Cleveland.
