FRI-YAY is officially open to the public! šŸ‹

If you’ve spent the better part of this year thinking, ā€œI really need to get to thatā€¦ā€ about the same handful of projects, I created this for you.

FRI-YAY is a 2-week creative intensive where you hand me the design projects that keep getting pushed to the back burner, we decide what matters most for the season ahead, and I get to work.

Your list might include Showit updates, a sales page, Flodesk email templates, a lead magnet, social graphics, print collateral, Black Friday campaigns—or a completely random assortment of all of the above. šŸ˜‚

The goal is simple: get those projects out of your head and across the finish line.

Because I know how much mental space unfinished projects can take up. They have a funny way of popping into your head while you’re making dinner, trying to fall asleep, or spending a Saturday with your family.

And ohhhh, the relief when you realize you don’t have to think about them anymore because they’re actually DONE.

FRI-YAY is $1,500 for two weeks of dedicated creative support, and I’m opening just 6 spots between August and October.

Enrollment closes July 30 at 11:59 PM CST

All the details + booking are at the link in my bio. šŸ’ž

Okay, I’m VERY excited to finally start sharing more of the stories behind the brands I create.

First up: Lindsay Lieberman Law + Consulting.

Lindsay isn’t your typical attorney, and from the beginning, we knew her brand shouldn’t look like one either.

Her work sits at the intersection of advocacy, education, and litigation, so we needed to create a brand that could communicate credibility and expertise without losing the warmth, empathy, and personality that make Lindsay so uniquely good at what she does.

In this new case study, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the entire project—from the strategy and creative direction to my One Concept Method, the finished brand identity, and the Showit website we created to support both sides of her practice.

I’m also digging into something I’ve been thinking about a LOT lately: why professionalism and personality don’t have to exist on opposite ends of the spectrum.

Because in a world where AI can imitate expertise in seconds, I believe the stories, experiences, interests, and values that make you you are becoming some of your greatest assets.

If you’re an attorney—or really any professional service provider who’s ever felt like your brand has to fit inside a certain industry box—I think you’ll love this one.

If you’re new around here, welcome.

And if you’ve been following along for years, thanks for sticking around through every version of this business.

One of the interesting things about running a personal brand is that your business inevitably grows and changes alongside you. The Stephanie who started freelancing 6.5 years ago looked very different than the Stephanie writing this caption today.

A lot has changed since then.

Some things haven’t.

I’m still endlessly curious.

Still asking ā€œbut why?ā€

Still dreaming up more ideas than I have time to execute.

Still convinced that thoughtful design can change the trajectory of a business.

These days, I just happen to be doing it with a baby on my hip, dirt under my fingernails, and a few more gray hairs than before. šŸ˜†

Whether you’re here for branding, websites, marketing, homestead life, or simply because you enjoy following along, I’m glad you’re here.

Now tell me what brought you to my little corner of the internet?

Have we got anything in common?

Business owners don’t spend enough time asking why.

Why this color?
Why this logo?
Why this offer?
Why are we posting this on Instagram?
Why does this business exist in the first place?

Maybe this is the designer in me or the only-child tendency to question everything. Maybe it’s because I now have a one-year-old who spends his entire day trying to figure out how the world works. šŸ˜†

Whatever the reason, I’ve never been very good at accepting ā€œbecause that’s how it’s doneā€ as an answer.

I think that’s part of why I love branding so much.

A logo isn’t meaningful simply because it exists.

A website isn’t memorable simply because it’s beautiful.

Meaning comes from the story, the perspective, the beliefs, the experiences, and all the little details underneath.

The visual stuff is simply how we communicate those things.

When I’m working on a branding project, I’m never thinking about whether a logo should be bigger or whether a website should be blue.

I’m usually sitting there wondering why someone would choose this business over all the other options available to them.

Because once you have a good answer to that question, a lot of the other decisions become surprisingly simple.

One of the questions I get asked most often is, ā€œHow do we actually work together?ā€

So I figured it was probably time for a proper introduction. šŸ˜„

There are two primary ways to work with me:

🧺 Brand Identity and Website Design

Most of my clients choose to combine both into one collaborative project so we can build a cohesive brand from the ground up, but each service is also available individually depending on what season your business is in.

This carousel walks you through what’s included, who it’s designed for, how I approach the work, and what you can expect if we decide to partner together.

If you’ve been around for a while, you’ll probably notice that this process is about a lot more than logos and websites. My favorite part of the work has always been helping clients uncover what makes their business unlike anyone else’s, then making sure every creative decision points back to that idea.

If you’ve ever wondered what it’s actually looks like to work together…

This one’s for you. šŸ¤Ž

Your logo is almost never the problem.

Swipe through to see the difference story and strategy make in how your brand is perceived.

If your brand isn’t communicating what makes you different, let’s change that!

Well... it’s finally done. šŸ˜…

I’ve spent the last several months redesigning nearly every corner of my business, and today I get to officially share it with you.

You’ll notice a little less emphasis on trying to be everything to everyone and a lot more emphasis on the work I love most: helping businesses uncover the ideas, stories, and perspectives that make them impossible to confuse with anyone else.

In a world where every industry is starting to sound the same, look the same, and market itself the same way {looking at you AI ā€œlogosā€ & flyers}, I think originality matters more than ever.

Thank you to every client, friend, family member, and fellow creative who has cheered me on through this process.

If you’d like to see the new brand in action, the website is officially live. I’ve poured countless hours into every page, illustration, texture, photo, and detail, and it feels a little surreal to finally share it.

Take a look around and let me know what catches your eye!

How many of these are you guilty of? 😭

If you answered 1 or more… it may be time for a rebrand.

DIY and cheap logo templates will get you by for a time. But at some point they become a hindrance.

A waste of time, money, resources, and your brain power.

If that resonates, hi I’m Steph - a brand and website designer for mission-led founders ready to break out of the DIY ceiling.
