📢 Important Update About dcwin.org Email Accounts. Please share!

Google Workspace has increased its pricing, so dcwin.org email accounts will now cost $84 per year ($7 per month) per subscriber. We do encourage you to get a free email service and get your emails in order. We plan to delete the subscription service in whole by next March, 2027.

This is a direct pass-through cost from Google — we do not make any profit from this.

Emails were sent to all subscribed accounts this morning. Please check spam/junk folder. If we do not receive a response by March 15th, the subscription will be terminated.

‼️There will be expected downtime around 12:00 a.m. tonight 2/12/26. We hope to keep it minimal. Our tech will be performing maintenance on our equipment at Kiwanis Tower in response to the provider outages.

A potential winter storm is expected to impact our area this weekend, which may result in power outages and service interruptions.
Please know that our team is actively monitoring conditions and preparing to respond as safely and quickly as possible.

If power is lost in your area, internet service could also be unavailable until power is restored. The crew has worked all week making sure backup generators are working and available.

For the safety of our technicians:
•Crews may be delayed due to road conditions
•Repairs may take longer than usual during severe weather

On Monday, November 17th, technicians and field crew will be moving fiber and equipment from the access point at the town hall in Haysi to another location. Businesses and residential customers in the town of Haysi will be affected for a period of time, up to a few hours, with plans to keep downtime to a minimum during the transition.
