Our first sunset of Spring here in the Carolinas was spectacular! I wish I could have had the drone up just a few minutes earlier to capture the whole sky lit up, but this still made for a spectacular shot!

Morning magic from Lake Wylie, SC! 📸

A stunning bird of prey paid a visit to our backyard fence today - and let me get surprisingly close for these shots! Captured with my Nikon 200–500mm lens, these moments are why I always keep a camera nearby.

Nature has a way of stopping you in your tracks… and I’m so glad I got to share this one with you. Hope fellow nature lovers enjoy this glimpse of wild beauty as much as I did. 🥰

Snow Morning from Above ❄️

Yesterday morning, we took the drone up around 7:45 a.m. to capture this rare South Carolina snow - from a whole new perspective. These images were all taken within about 40 minutes, and let’s just say… cold temps + drone batteries = a very fast lesson in winter flying. 😅

A few things that made this flight extra special:
• The air was so clear you can actually spot Charlotte in one of the shots
• The pond has more ice than it looks - beautiful, but deceptive
• The mountains in the distance never disappoint
• Snow + sunrise = absolute magic ✨

Flying at sunrise in conditions like this is not something we get to do often here, and we’re so glad we braved the cold to document it. South Carolina snow days don’t last long - so when they happen, we capture every second.
