New: Hyperion R Blackbody Calibrator Upgraded

The Hyperion R Blackbody Source was first introduced in the early 1990’s with the matching Gemini R Source (to 550°C). Since that time, we have produced a large number which are in use around the world. There have been several updates over the years introducing new features.

NEW - we have are widened the range from -10°C to 80°C to -20°C to 125°C. The high emissivity of the Hyperion R makes it ideal for the of a wide range of .

We also introduced a new Gallium Cell that simply fits inside the Hyperion R at the end of the cavity. Intended for researchers, it allows the Hyperion R to melt the Gallium and to provide a stable plateau at
29.7646°C with a typical duration time of five hours.

TEMPMEKO 2019 - Chengdu, China

This is the most important conference for primary temperature metrology in the world. It takes place every three years, and it is where the world’s leading temperature experts meet.

Isotech is excited to be attending TEMPMEKO 2019, June 10th – 13th. We will be talking about our brand-new Dual Heat Pipe Thermocouple Homogeneity Scanner, and presenting a poster with an update to our Argon Triple Point System.

Paul Bramley will once again be with us, with the latest version of the world’s first practical Johnson Noise Thermometer, JNT.
The first showing of the JNT took place in Zakopane, Poland at TEMPMEKO 2016. Since then, Paul has further developed the JNT. We are thrilled to have it with us at TEMPMEKO 2019 in Chengdu, China. It is strictly under wraps until then!
