GIG Fiber Update: Service for customers was restored around 7:30 PM yesterday, October 28. We apologize for the inconvenience and delays; the problem has now been identified and resolved.

Due to a Microsoft Azure server issue, a cloud-based computing system, services were affected nationwide. CBPU GIG Fiber services operate on a Sonar Server Platform which was affected by the Microsoft problem. Many of our customers experienced outages starting around 2:30 PM yesterday. Once Microsoft resolved the issue on their end, it took some time to reboot the Sonar servers and restore service for our customers. We appreciated your patience during this outage.

GIG Fiber Outage Alert⚠️: There is currently a citywide outage for GIG Fiber services. We are working to restore services; however, we do not have an estimated time for restoration at this time.
