This weekend we were able to order chairs to replace the ones damaged in the accident. I'm happy to say that we were able to get the same chairs (I LOVE THEM!) We have also replace the picture frames, lamp shade, planter, and dried grasses that were ruined.
The building owner took down the damaged awning and a carpenter has begun rebuilding the wall at the front of the shop.
So happy to see things finally happening.

Yesterday the DOT finally got the light standard reinstalled on our intersection. Rumor has it that we should be getting windows in the next few days. Thank goodness things are starting to be fixed.

Well, as of today we have met with the building owners, his insurance adjuster and rep, the contractor, and the masonry worker.
We have also opened a claim with the driver's insurance company, as well.
Hopefully things will begin soon and our building will be back and better than before.
It is definitely a new experience for us to be dealing with, but under the circumstances I'd say things are going okay.
Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts in our behalf.

ServPro and Greg's Electric did a great job getting us patched up for Monday.
Might be a little dark inside without the windows but we will be open :)

Sometimes you just have to laugh. I found the crosswalk signals and push buttons amongst the debris. Wonder if I get to keep these as souvenirs? :)

We got a call last night (2am) that someone crashed a truck into our business.

yesterday I picked up a iphone 4 from a customer that needed a new screen. They had a cracked screen and ordered a new one to fix it themselves. The didn't know how to do it so they had a friend to the install. The screen was the wrong one so they just cut of the tabs to make it fit and broke the new screen in the process. Then the vi****or started running non stop. I took it apart and the screws were missing or in the wrong spot and a piece of the circuit board was broken. When I got done trying to put it back together I got the camera light to turn on for a couple of seconds but that was the only life I got out of it. I just pronounced it DEAD. If anyone is thinking about fixing there own phone Please, Please, Please go very SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. or have someone who does it for a living do it. You may not have paid much with your contract but the smart phone in your pocket is worth probably around $400 or more. You would not replace a windshield yourself on a new car so please think about it when you are working on your expensive phone. Sorry for the rant but I hate to see a good phone die before its time. www.icracked.com
