The effort to keep the internet open and free took a hit today. The FCC has moved forward on its desire to kill net neutrality. It is attempting to frame the issue as an effort to protect the internet. However, it is an obvious move to only protect the ISPs. We must continue to resist the FCC.

Momentum is building towards the protecting net neutrality. But, we need to continue to pressure the media, our elected representatives, and the FCC. If we don't, then we will see an end to the internet we have gone to love.

The first victory in our campaign against the destruction of net neutrality has been achieved. The courts, which have stood strong against Trump's pro-carrier agenda, have signaled that they are willing to fight for us. However, we are a long way from achieving our goal. The time has come for Trump's FCC to reveal its true intentions. Unfortunately for us, the FCC has turned away from internet users and now fully supports the efforts of the carriers. We must begin to assemble the forces that will force the FCC to protect policies like net neutrality. I ask you to stand up with me to stop the FCC and the carriers from destroying the internet.

CellShare takes no political position on America's feud between the parties. Our desire is to keep the internet open and free so that the internet can remain a tool for change and prosperity. However, the Trump administration is dead set to destroy net neutrality rules. We must all stand together to protect the rules that allow us access to a free and open internet. Now, you must pressure your political office holders to prevent Trump's administration from destroying the Internet. Call them, write them and protest them if you can. Don't stop until we can preserve net neutrality.
