Hey y’all ✌️ Lauren here, emerging from my pandemic burnout.

I went hard for 3 years straight y’all, barely allowing myself to rest and truthfully it started taking a toll on me and the quality of my work. Can anyone else relate?

I’ve slowed down exponentially, and I’m finding more and more balance every day. It’s hard out here for a small business owner to find harmony and a healthy work life balance in a culture that always seems to glorify the hustle. Did I mention I also started another business last summer 🌿 what a wild/fulfilling/chaotoc/stressful/passionate ride it’s been.

Anywho just wanted to say hi, show proof of life and say thank you for loving me and for believing in my work. I’ll be blowing up your feed soon, posting some work from my pandemic archives, and some current projects I’m stoked to be working on.

This project is very near and dear to my heart, and I'd love for you to take a sec to read more about it

Riley I Whitelaw was a 17 year old high school senior in Colorado Springs that was taken from this world too soon. In the wake of her death, her mother Courtenay created a Memorial Scholarship Fund to honor her beautiful, kind, talented daughter.

Courtenay reached out to me to help create a brand and an online store to raise funds for the non-profit, and it has been my greatest honor to work with her to honor Riley in a way that we're sure would make her proud.

The Riley I Whitelaw Memorial Fund grants scholarships to High School Seniors who carry the same qualities as Riley (kind, creative, intelligent, hardworking, and giving of her time).

Let’s talk Brand Photography for a sec 📸

I’m a huge advocate for business owners having a library of visual content in their marketing toolbox. Having photos that you OWN and that represent YOUR unique business solves a lot of problems in our day to day marketing as business owners.

What do I mean by this? Well, websites need photos, your social media platforms need photos, even brochures and printed marketing materials use some amount of photography in them.

Sure as a professional photographer I may be biased — but has anyone truly ever connected to a stock image online? If you’re selling me a service or a product, I want to see the real thing, the real person behind the business I’m supporting.

Visual storytelling is a beautiful thing, it draws the curtain open allowing your customer the opportunity to connect and relate to your business on a human level.

Bonus - it’s 10x easier to sit down and draft your social content when you actually have a library of curated images to help you tell your story.

Solving this problem is one of my favorite things to do for my clients, I love giving you the tools you need to succeed as a business owner. Invest in yourself, it’s worth it I promise!

Look, y’all are finally getting to see some of my work considering I’m the worst ever at managing my own social media 😛

New Brand Identity for the one and only talented 🌿 Jessica is such an incredible wedding and event planner and I had so much fun working with her easy going spirit. She wanted her brand to encapsulate some of her favorite things about Colorado; the mountains, the wildflowers, and the wildlife 🏔 and I did just that for her!

Just packaged up the final Brand files for GO2 — a new startup superfood supplement brand.

They wanted a brand that didn’t scream ~ fiTnEsS bRo ~ but rather a brand what was fun, energetic, approachable and inclusive to all, no matter where they are in their wellness/health journey.

I really enjoyed getting to work with them to deliver branding, packaging design and product photography. Keep an eye out for them to hit the shelves and the Amazon marketplace soon 🌱

Hey friends 👋 It’s me Lauren! It’s been a cool 5 months since I last said hello on here 🤦‍♀️ I just wanted to pop by and say how much I love you all, how grateful I am for your continued support, encouragement and existence in my universe.

What a wildly fun weekend, that we will remember forever! Thank you to all of my patient clients for allowing me to step out of work for a bit (longer than expected thanks to the nationwide southwest delays)
