ITS BEEN A MINUTE!! This is my latest mural I painted at the upcoming TACO TACO in Columbia, MO!! We’ve been working on the style of this mural for months and eventually landed on this bold blue desert background that matches the logo for TACO TACO with a few Alebrije sitting around the room!

Alebrije are brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of dreamlike creatures. They can also represent the protection of the home by warding off bad spirits. Being in Columbia, we knew we wanted to represent Mizzou somehow. I came up with the idea to use the exact same style and create Truman the Tiger as an alebrije with some famous Mizzou landmarks in the background.

Needless to say this was such a fun experience and I can’t wait to see people sitting in these rooms when they open!

Excited to finally reveal these custom signs I painted for Coach Sears and the crew over at Hoxie High School.
There’s something special about bringing that classic, bold energy into a space where the hard work actually happens.
Big thanks to the Hoxie community for the hospitality. It’s always an honor to leave a permanent mark on a program with this much heart.

A few weeks ago, I had the incredible honor of painting three canvases for the library at Twin Rivers high school in memory of Holly Johnson. Holly was a close family friend, which made this project feel so much more personal. It truly meant the world to me to use my art to celebrate her life and the legacy she left behind in her community.

This is still one of my favorite murals I've painted. Something about that old brick and vintage lettering really put this one over the top. The decorations for Christmas look so good! I'm getting excited for the holidays!

CELEBRATING ONE YEAR OF CREATIVE FREEDOM 🥳

One year ago today, I took a leap of faith to turn my passion into a full-time career.
As some of you know, after graduating college, I spent about four years working for a company designing apparel. These designs were printed for some of the country's biggest colleges, national parks, and outfitters. During my trip to Breckenridge in October, we even saw multiple t-shirts I had designed inside the stores on Main Street!

That being said, by November of last year, my side hustle had started to surpass my day-to-day work. I prayed about it, I talked with my friends and family, and came to the conclusion that it was time to make the switch.
Since starting this creative journey, there wasn't an exact path to success, nor were there many mentors I could reach out to initially. Now, I have several people I can bounce ideas off of or ask for advice. I also love being completely open with other artists about my process and helping where I can. Over the past year, I've painted some of the largest murals of my life and continue to build friendships and business relationships with so many kind people.

There's no way I'd be where I am today without the incredible support of my parents, family, friends, and my faith. I feel truly blessed every day that I wake up and get to do exactly what I've set out to do.
With many exciting projects in the works and new life changes ahead, I can't wait to see what the next year of business brings! Thank you to everyone who has been supporting me with your kind words in the comments, likes, and shares.

Congratulations to The Caffeinated Cow being voted the BEST COFFEE in Northeast Arkansas for the THIRD YEAR IN A ROW. It was an honor getting to paint this mural last year on the side of their building.

I'm so excited to share the new logo I designed and painted for The 1902 Brocante in downtown Leland, Mississippi! This new coffee and antique shop is being beautifully remodeled by the same hardworking folks behind the historic Thompson House. It was so much fun getting to meet the locals and hear their stories. And here's a fun fact: Kermit the Frog is from Leland! A huge thank you to Miller and Bella Gehrke for trusting me with this project. Can't wait to see the finished interior!
