Here’s something we’re starting to see in Google Search Console that’s worth paying attention to:

Pages with high impressions, solid average position, but surprisingly low clicks.

That pattern can be a clue your content is showing up in Google’s AI Overviews—but not necessarily getting the clicks you’d expect. In the video, we walk through how to spot this inside Search Console and what it actually means for your traffic.

So we figured it was about darn time we talk about it ourselves from the angle we do best - websites.

Yes, AI is changing how search works. Heck, AI is changing how AI works. But for most businesses, the impact is more "interesting shift" than "five-alarm fire." Websites aren't obsolete - AI Overviews pull FROM websites. They don't replace them.

Google renamed Data Studio to Looker Studio forever ago and OMG I still don’t think I’ve called it Looker Studio once because the name sounded so dumb. 😂

At this point, “Data Studio” is permanently burned into my brain and honestly… I’m not changing.
