There were a few less runners at this year's race but just as much spirit! Proud of Team Red Alpha for waking up early to finish strong at the AFCEA Central Maryland (CMD) for Excellence, all to help support the next generation of STEM leaders.

Moments like this are about more than recognition, they’re a reminder of the incredible community we are a part of. The innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking happening across the tech and government contracting space is truly inspiring, and we’re grateful to be included among so many organizations and leaders pushing the industry ahead. That said, CONGRATS to all this year's finalists! Being included among such an impressive group of innovators makes this moment even more meaningful.

We look forward to coming together at the Industry Awards Celebration on May 21, 2026 to celebrate the work being done across this community 💻

What makes a great chili cook-off, the spice or the scruff?

This year's competition brought the heat in more ways than one, especially since it was paired with our equally competitive No Shave Furbruary. Turns out, patience, dedication, and a bold approach are key ingredients in both great chili and facial hair. From slow-simmered classics to creative experiments to at least one recipe that took a shortcut straight to the wing aisle, there was no shortage of flavor. 🌶️

Huge thanks to everyone who entered their “secret” recipes, and congrats to our winners! Already looking forward to next year… bigger beards and even bolder chili 🔥🧔

Another successful ! 🧔🐾

For the 6th year in a row, our members started February clean-shaven and finished the month with full (and sometimes questionable) faces of hair, all in support of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Some grew impressive beards, some grew fancy beards, and others, well, they gave it their best shot. In the end, though, strategy and genetics didn’t matter much, it really came down to who could rally the most votes 💲 💵

We’re proud to share that, thanks to everyone’s efforts and generosity, our members raised close to $1,000 this year. 🎉

A big thank you to everyone who participated, voted, and supported the cause. We’re already looking forward to next year’s facial hair masterpieces!

Recently, a brave group of members put their trust (and poker faces) to the test in a totally very serious game of Werewolf 🐺 . Alliances were formed. Accusations were made. Innocent lives were lost.

Plot twist: the real threat to the company wasn't the Werewolf, it was the Bodyguard who single-handedly took out 4 innocent villagers and saved himself. If you know you know 😅

🥶 Team Red Alpha takes the Plunge🥶

We thought last year was bad....year 5 was BRUTAL. By 3:30 PM, it felt like 15 degrees, and somehow the bay at a "balmy" 33 degrees felt like a hot tub ♨️. The neighboring marina? A literal iceberg. But Team Red Alpha, undeterred and armed with donuts and coffee, ran straight into that bay (some twice), without hesitation.

Year 5 of plunging is officially in the books and once again we're proud to support the Special Olympics Maryland. Even better? Everyone survived to see year 6....hopefully they'll be thawed out by then 🙃

Grateful for moments like these as we close out the year! Our last happy hour of 2025 was the perfect way to celebrate the hard work and commitment of our incredible team.

During this two week, M-F, 9am-5pm program, rising 6-12th grade students will learn the basics of , solve real-world problems with , meet local industry professionals, and so much more! We're offering two tracks: the Intro Track for middle schoolers or beginners, and the Advanced Track for high schoolers or experienced coders.
