I WANT TO RECORD BUT HOW DO I DO IT?

The most effective way to record or convert an analog instrument into a digital format is by using an USB audio interface; such as the Focusrite 2i2 or similar. This unit converts an analog audio signal into digital, or better known as an AD/DA converter.

Once you have an audio interface, you will need to pair it with a recording program. Most interfaces come with a free version of a recording program as well as instructions on how to have them talk to each other. I highly recommend Pro Tools or Ableton Live.

All that's left is to set your gains and press record!
