Update on lakes tower: We have an tower team to replace the radio. Unfortunately there is a shortage of tower techs so the earliest they can get up here is Thursday the 16th
If anyone knows of an experienced tower tech let us know!
We hate waiting so long and apologize for the inconvenience.
Just a reminder that we have internet available at the tower if you need it.

For the lakes tower: The problem were having is in the radio on the tower. It will require replacement of the radio. We are trying to get a climber to replace the radio but it looks like it will be a couple days. In the mean time if you are on lake Thomas we may be able to move you to another radio. If you are, please contact us. Also we have enabled wireless internet access at the tower. If you drive up there you can log into our router(the password is written on the door) and use the internet there. If you need help doing this please call us. We apologize for the extended outage.We are working hard to get your service up as soon as possible.

For the lakes tower we are aware of an outage on 1 of our radios, it is radio 15 which serves most of the customers south of the tower. We are working on it and will update as soon as we have a solution. Thank you for your patience!

For the lakes tower: Fall is here and the preparations are under way to get the tower ready for winter. We will be installing the brand new power back up system over the next week or so and (hopefully) don't expect any outages. The new equipment should extend your service during an outage up to 12 hours or more!
Also its time to update all equipment to the latest software. We plan on doing this Sunday 10/5. We anticipate 2-3 short outages as we reboot the equipment (3-5 minutes) and hope to have all equipment updated by 10am.

This is for the Lakes tower: as you know, the area had a long power outage this morning. The batteries gave up about 4 hours in and the tower went offline. Normally we get 7-9 hours on that tower so kind of strange that it went off early. When the power came back up the tower didn't. Me and Brian will have to snow shoe in tomorrow morning. If it just needs a reboot it should be back up around 10:00 am. I'll update later. Please kind of spread the word.

Good morning, The temporary fix we did on the Colville mountain tower,last Saturday, has worked well, but it's time to make a permanent repair. So tomorrow, Saturday the 17th, we will be installing the new power supply and replacing the batteries. If all goes as planned there should only be a brief outage, and the tower will be up and running before 8:00 am.
Also for the Lakes tower: we installed a new radio on Tuesday(Thank-you to Brian McCollim for giving a hand!) to relieve some pressure we have experienced during the weekends as people use more and more bandwidth. I will start testing on Saturday for coverage and update on the next steps soon. There may be a short outage when I finish integrating the radio Saturday morning.
