Lazerworx is a small woman-owned laser engraving and laser cutting business located near Wichita, KS. We can work with your existing design, or our designer can work with you to bring your ideas to life. We can etch tile, anodized aluminum, stainless steel, copper & other metals, glass, acrylic, stone, wood, fabric, leather, and even some food items. We are slowly but surely expanding our line of

advertised items to include control panel legends and ID plates, 3-D and edge-lit signs, lighted cake toppers, jewelry, custom etched tile, cutting boards, and glassware. Most items are customizable with your design, text, or photos. We love special requests!

Custom gift manufacturing shop needs help with building and assembling wood frames for gallery-wrapped canvases. We would love to work with someone with a home wood shop setup, but we also have a saw in our shop as a second option. The work consists of cutting up 10' sticks of wood I will provide to to make small to medium sized frames to the specs I provide.

Materials needed for home assembly include:
* a good chop saw that will do accurate 90 degree cuts
* fine finishing blade (80 is good)
* ample space to store frames and wood
* an air compressor
* a trailer/truck to pick up the wood on 10' pallets. We have a forklift for easy loading.

We will provide wood, special pneumatic v-nailer, and nails.

You would pick up the wood in Colwich, KS for now and deliver completed frames to West St and Kellogg area. Pickup will switch to that area in the next month.

We pay per frame, so if you hustle, you can make up to $25/hr. The work-at-your-shop position is a subcontractor position. We also pay mileage

Alternately, if you don't have the equipment but want to work in our shop as an employee, we start at $12/hr.

Position available until at least mid June, possibly turning into full time if our business keeps growing.

I need someone from now through mid June to help pack orders, open boxes, and do general light manufacturing work. Experience with laser engraving machines or previous order packing a plus. Attention to detail a MUST. Drug free / drama free workplace. Could turn into permanent position for the right person. Start as early as tomorrow. $12/hr plus fast raises if your work is up to par. Paid every Wednesday. Hours 11 am - 7 pm Friday, 10 am - 6 pm Sat and Sunday, and 11 am - 7pm 3 days next week of your choice, or overtime available if you want to work more and your coworkers are impressed with your work ethic. We are a team here and everyone pitches in to get things done. Weekends mandatory for the next 3 weeks. 18+ to apply. Duties include opening boxes and stocking inventory, cleaning and packing engraved items, and using our shipping software to create labels. Familiarity with ShipStation a plus. Fast paced, will be on your feet all day. Located near Kellogg & West. $11/hr. Hours 10 am - 5:30 pm (semi flexible), Mon - Fri.

Oh my gosh, ya'll!!! I just mailed my 2,000th tumbler in a little over 2 weeks. The phone just started ringing the day after Thanksgiving and never stopped. I work in a studio above our garage, but my whole house was overtaken with Yeti, RTIC, Ozark Trail and other assorted brands of stainless steel cups. Meanwhile, I'm still drinking my Pepsi from a bottle...

GREAT NEWS! You can now see some of our work locally at Things 4 That at Maple & Ridge in Wichita. It's a totally adorable new consignment store with gorgeous crafts from 150 local makers. We're offering Ozark Trail, a bargain brand that performs identically to Yeti and RTIC in heat and cold retention tests, for $21 (20 oz) & $23 (30 oz).
