Correction on the " Comanche City Council denies ordinance for Sanctuary City for the Unborn " article that appeared in the print edition of The Comanche Chief newspaper on June 25, 2026.
It was stated that the City of Comanche Chief of Police, Kelly Davis, was a member of Abiding Life Church. This is incorrect, Chief Davis is not a member of the Abiding Life Church.
Attached is the full article with the correction.

Mayor Mary Boyd opened the meeting at 5:30 p.m., and appointed councilmember Rick Griffith gave the invocation.
