Happy Doodler I began painting in 2019 after moving to a new home due to being diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder in late 2018.

zingly, it turned out that painting is a wonderful form of pain therapy. Something miraculous happens when I pick up the paint brush - my muscles calm and my pain subsides! I gained a reputation for capturing pets' personalities and was soon being hired on commission to paint not only pets, but other special moments, memories, and scenes. I am continually looking for new subjects to paint and am honored every time I am entrusted to capture the vision of a client on canvas.

So, I know I posted this one already, but the more I looked at it the more that I just kept feeling that it needed, well . . . more. I’ve added detail and texture to the sand and made a few other touchups and changes. If I haven’t said so before the painting is based on the scripture, John 8:1-12.

 On the easel: this painting was inspired by a sermon my pastor gave. The sound of a large rock dropping onto the stage, not only shocked my senses, but also led to an idea of a painting  showing only shadows of men as they walk away from the one they were so harshly condemning.

Sometimes I doodle on Mobiles and Blankets
Meet my 'Country Girl' nursery design! 🏠 I designed two blankets a thicker Sherpa blanket and a lightweight blanket. I turned the custom blanket characters into mini pillows and attached them to a DIY mobile with macrame string, beads, and bows. 💕
