📶 HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT HOW MUCH WORK YOUR HOME NETWORK ACTUALLY DOES?
Your Wi-Fi isn't just connecting a couple of phones anymore.
In today's connected home, your network may be responsible for dozens of devices operating simultaneously—24 hours a day.
So ask yourself:
❓ Is your Wi-Fi configured correctly?
❓ Do you have consistent coverage throughout your home?
❓ What about your garage, porch and outdoor areas?
❓ Is your connection stable when dozens of devices are online?
❓ Is your network properly secured and managed?
THIS IS A REAL NETWORK WE RECENTLY COMPLETED.
The screen images in this post aren't stock footage or a demonstration system.
They're from an actual Ubiquiti UniFi network installed and configured by Creative Home Audio.
This particular home relies heavily on its network.
Wireless devices include smart lighting and controls, phones, tablets, Amazon Echo devices, thermostats/HVAC controls, cameras and numerous other smart-home and IoT devices.
Meanwhile, equipment that benefits from a physical connection—including computers, televisions and audio/video equipment—is hardwired whenever practical.
Why?
Because a properly designed network shouldn't force everything onto Wi-Fi.
We use Wi-Fi where Wi-Fi makes sense and Ethernet where Ethernet makes sense.
📡 THE RESULTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES
The UniFi gateway speed tests shown in our images repeatedly measured 900+ Mbps download AND upload, including:
⬇️ 937 Mbps Download
⬆️ 953 Mbps Upload
⚡ 1 ms Gateway Speed-Test Latency
Other recorded tests were consistently in the same range, with results such as approximately 940 Mbps down / 956 Mbps up and 939 Mbps down / 956 Mbps up.
Actual internet speeds depend on the customer's ISP, service plan, equipment, network design, device capabilities and other conditions. Results shown are from this specific installation.
BUT SPEED IS ONLY PART OF THE STORY.
Look closely at the other screen recordings.
You're seeing the network infrastructure behind a modern connected home—switching, access points and a large number of wired and wireless clients all working together.
The UniFi management system gives us visibility into the network and individual connected devices, helping us identify how devices are connected, monitor network activity and properly manage the system.
A professionally designed network can include:
🔹 Cat6 structured cabling
🔹 Managed network switches
🔹 PoE — Power over Ethernet
🔹 Professionally positioned Wi-Fi access points
🔹 Indoor AND outdoor wireless coverage
🔹 Hardwired TV & A/V connections
🔹 Smart-home and IoT connectivity
🔹 Network segmentation / VLANs when appropriate
🔹 Guest network isolation
🔹 Security camera networking
🔹 Network monitoring and management
🔹 Professional equipment racks and cable management
YOUR SMART HOME STARTS WITH THE NETWORK.
You can purchase the best TVs, speakers, cameras, lighting controls and smart-home equipment available...
…but if the network behind everything isn't designed correctly, none of it will perform the way it should.
Dead zones.
Buffering.
Dropped connections.
Slow devices.
Unreliable smart-home controls.
Many times, the problem isn't the device.
It's the network supporting it.
At Creative Home Audio, we don't simply install another Wi-Fi router and hope for the best.
We design the network around your home, your equipment and the way your family actually uses technology.
