Thank you for 12 amazing years

Since 2008, The Computer Guys have been offering fast, friendly and affordable computer repair services for residential users in the Greater Pittsburgh Area, and particularly in Moon Township where our office is located. Being a local Moon Township resident myself, it gave me a great sense of pride and community to be able to provide these services to clients from Moon and the surrounding Pittsburgh area.

Over the years, we have been able to forge relationships as IT support for many businesses, municipalities, police departments, etc. We proudly work with these businesses and public services to offer them the same high level of reliability, efficiency, honesty and affordability that we provided for our residential customers. Our business support contracts require a great deal of our time to ensure we are providing a high level of service to our clients. We simply cannot sacrifice the quality of our services by overextending ourselves - it goes against our mission statement as a business.

Therefore, it is my obligation to our thousands of residential clients to announce that The Computer Guys will no longer be offering residential computer services effective immediately. We sincerely thank each and every one of our residential clients for their support over the years and give credit to them for allowing and helping us grow and take the business in this direction.

Please let me be very clear, we are NOT closing. We are proudly here to serve any and all professional businesses, municipalities and other public services that require reliable and affordable Managed IT and computer support services. We are excited for the opportunity to grow our business further and remain proud to be woven into the fabric of our community.

The computer guys are pleased to offer a part-time position at a young and growing company with opportunity for self growth. Additionally the diverse nature of the work keeps days interesting and full of learning. We take pride in a relaxed but professional work environment and a great sense of humor. A qualified candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a very high level of customer service skills, as well as problem solving abilities.

Qualifications (Required):
Punctual & flexible
Strong customer service skills
Proficient in versions of Windows and Mac

Qualifications (Not-Required, but a plus):
Proficient and confident in desktop/laptop hardware repair
Knowledge of computer components and software
Software and hardware troubleshooting skills
Understanding of basic networking concepts

Some great information from our friends at the police station. Very popular computer scams.

Warn your friends, family and neighbors. We continue to get reports from victims of scams. Don't allow someone to convince you to buy gift cards and send the authorization codes (you scratch off to reveal.) Don't accept checks from unknown sources who request that you deposit the checks and send them the excess funds! If you are not sure if something is a scam, tell them to wait or call back and then call your local police department.
