Did you know? Roughly a year and a half ago, Coupon with Kayla came to me to create a brand for her social. So I came up with this illustration and logo. Since then, she has amassed 415K and 1.5M followers on both Instagram and TikTok respectively! Wow. Super grateful to be able to do work for someone else so driven. What if the show All That got a reboot?😛

I started drawing this type in the airport one day and totally forgot about it. Fast forward a couple months and I found it again in a notebook so I decided to finish it. Been trying to experiment with more fluid type and it can be difficult trying to tell myself what to leave alone sometimes. Enjoy!

Never really got to use the 2019 Pantone Color of the Year on anything but I felt like it paired nicely with this type. Figured I’d pay homage to the current city I’m living in (or close to anyway). This was inspired by old hand painted signage type. I plan on using it for something here soon!

Going through some of my old stuff that didn’t make the cut! This was an identity project for recording artist Matthew Steeper. These were eventually narrowed down and the third iteration here was improved upon. It’s fun looking back at older work sometimes because it can reignite ideas you may have had or spark new ones.
