Please do not sleep with your phone plugged in on your bed! This is a melted charging port and thankfully this is all that happened! The person was not harmed nor was there a fire! I was able to change the part out and the rest of the phone is in working order! Stay safe everyone!

Just in case you ever wondered why the labor is $65 for changing parts out. This picture only shows a part of it. There are lots of screws (different sizes), cables/connections, parts that will snap/break if you don't go in the order they are layered. On top of all that, everything has to be put back in properly for it to function. One missed step and you could be without sound, wifi, keyboard or even your mouse.

With all that being said, this is my passion! I love diagnosing and resolving. This was a reason I loved Math in school. There is generally a solution to every problem. Send your computers or even some other electronics (I will let you know if it's something I can do) my way!

These are DC jacks. You plug your AC adapters in them to power on your device. The one on the left is new and how it should look. The one on the right is broken and missing a piece. That missing piece caused this laptop to not charge at all.

Are you looking to upgrade to Windows 11 but your Windows 10 device doesn't meet the necessary requirements? I can provide expert recommendations.

After October 14, 2025 Microsoft will no longer be providing support for Windows 10. What does this mean? It simply means they will not be doing security updates. You can still use Windows 10, but you will be at a much higher risk of viruses/hacking.

Now is a good time to start planning on if you need to upgrade or buy a newer system.
