🛑 Stop. Scratch that QR code before you scan it.

If you are paying for parking, ordering food, or checking a "missed delivery" note today, watch out. "Quishing" (QR Phishing) is a rapidly growing scam.

Hackers print their own QR code stickers and paste them over the legitimate codes on parking meters and restaurant tables. You scan it -> You enter your credit card -> They drain your account.

The 2-Second Test: Before you scan, run your fingernail over the code. If you feel a sticker edge or it looks like it was pasted on top of the glass/plastic—DO NOT SCAN IT. Pay with the physical card slot or download the official app directly from the App Store.
