It's been a while since I've shared an update. Here's my latest project. My business part for my consulting company and I have spent the last several months masterminding and creating a new podcast.

Hello friends! It's been a very long time since I posted here. And I hope it finds you and your family well, all things considered.

This page was originally my Chris Nordyke State Farm page, and I know many of you are past clients.

A lot of water has passed under the bridge.

I spent almost 6 years as VP of business development for a regional disaster restoration company. When I got there, the company had about 20 employees and was doing roughly $3M in sales. 5 years later we had grown it to almost $11M in sales with not quite 80 employees and had expanded to a second location in Central Oregon. It was a street MBA for me and stoked my passion for developing and selling in the service sector.

I've since established an executive coaching and consulting business focused exclusively on service companies- a mix of sectors- insurance, real estate, property management, construction/trades, disaster restoration.

I have a business partner that I've been collaborating with on a few clients that brings more than 25 years of operations management and senior leadership to us as a team. Combined with my background in sales, customer experience design and culture/branding, our projects together have become the fastest growing part of my work.

I'm expecting this business to continue growing in 2021.

Four months ago I also helped co-found a Portland-based start up called ALLCLIR- we've designed a chemical sensor solution that dovetails perfectly with the new hygiene practices and disinfecting industry that's been birthed by this year's pandemic. I'll post a video soon from a recent pitch event that we participated in.

All in all, it's been an excited 8 years since I left the insurance business. I've got a lot more freedom to innovate, and go where my clients needs take me.

A few have emailed or called wondering what I've been up to so far. I have an enterprise software solution called LiveTagger that is in development. Not ready for primetime, but we're moving quickly, hoping to begin pitching to investors in the next several weeks.
I've also taken on a 6 week project helping a friend launch Latch.com, a new innovative home services directory. I'll be helping him launch in their first market, Sacramento, beginning on Monday. Stay tuned for more...
