📡 Out-of-town save: Enid, Oklahoma

Made the trip up to Enid this week after a maintenance tech couldn't get an antenna install sorted out. Found the problem right away — the mounting pipe was way undersized for the antenna it was carrying, and it gave out in the first stiff wind (this area gets no shortage of that, wind turbines all over!).

Undersized hardware is one of the most common failure points we see — the antenna itself is usually fine, it's what it's mounted to that lets it down. We got it re-mounted properly with the right pipe for the job, so it'll actually hold up long-term.

Don't let a weak mount take down a good antenna. If something you've had installed keeps failing or came loose, give us a call — happy to take a look, even if we didn't do the original install.

📺 Heads up, Tablo owners!

If you've got an older Tablo DVR (Dual, Quad, or the original 2-4 tuner models), Tablo is ending support for the legacy app on September 1, 2026. After that date, the old app won't get updates and won't be re-downloadable if you ever lose it.

The good news: the fix is free. Just update your Tablo's firmware to version 2.2.60, which switches you over to their newer app — no new device needed. One thing to know: the new app doesn't support Tablo Connect (remote/out-of-home streaming) yet, so if you rely on that feature, worth weighing before you switch.
