A Trauma call was received by 911 dispatch at 507pm today for a woman that had fell down an approximately 30 foot ravine. Cass-Putman Rescue and Fulton County Emergency Medical Association-Ambulance was dispatched. OSF Lifeflight and Cuba Fire Protection District were requested for additional help. The patient was found down an approximately 50 foot ravine. The patient was extricated using a stokes basket, ropes and a lot of manpower. Then transported on Cuba FD UTV to Lifeflight a 1/2 mile away. The patient was then transported by OSFLifeflight to OSF for Further evaluation and treatment.

Sunday morning at 538am 911 dispatch received a call for a motor vehicle rollover on Route 9 and County 2. Cass-Putman Rescue, Cuba Fire Department, Fulton County Emergency Medical Association- Ambulance and Fulton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the area and found a rollover at Turkey Creek bottom. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled numerous times . A thorough search of the area and no patients were found but evidence at the scene indicated the patient or patients had injuries.

Saturday morning at 527 am dispatch received a report of a motor vehicle accident rollover with entrapment. Cass-Putman Rescue, Smithfield Fire Department, Fulton County Sheriff’s deputies, and Fulton County Emergency Medical Association responded. Cuba Fire Department and Bushnell Fire/ Rescue Department was requested for Additional Extrcation Equipment, manpower and to set up a landing zone but All helicopters were grounded due to the weather. The patient was transported to McDonough District Hospital in Macomb for further evaluation and treatment. A big thank you to Smithfield and Bushnell Fire Departments for their help with Extrication using the Jaws of Life !

If you want to park in the back lot of our parking lot that is fine, however past the telephone pole where the signs are is strictly for rescue/fire personnel ONLY! We have signs warning that your vehicle will be towed at your own expense if parked where the signs are. We do not want to have to tow anyone’s vehicle but we will.

Today March 29 Fulton County dispatch received a 911 call for a 72 year old Female that had been accidentally ran over by a truck on Point Pleasant Road in rural Marietta. Cass-Putman Rescue, Cuba Fire Department, Smithfield Fire Department, Fulton County EMA, Fulton County Sheriff’s deputies and OSF Lifeflight helicopter were all dispatched. The patient was treated for traumatic injuries and flown by Lifeflight helicopter to OSF St Francis Hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Thank you to all the agencies for your fast response and assistance.
