Thanks to everyone who attended the student sendoff. Justin and Omar delivered powerful speeches about the Power of Penn State. Everyone had a great meal made some connections and left motivated for the next chapter.
I would really like to emphasize the appreciation we have for the Letterman’s association and their willingness to join us today.

We’re excited to invite you to one of our favorite annual traditions — the Penn State Student Send-Off!

Join us as we celebrate and support our newest Nittany Lions before they head to Happy Valley! This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow alumni, share your Penn State pride, and welcome the next generation of Penn Staters.

This year we are especially excited to have the President and Vice President of the Football Letterman club joining us.
Our Special guests will be Dr. Justin Williams and Omar Easy.


Justin will speak about his book in whch he details his time playing for Coach Joe Paterno in the early 1990s.

In addition to that both Justin and Omar will both speak about the history of the Football Lettermans Club, their accomplishments, plans for fostering a strong relationship with the North Texas Chapter of Alumni and the plans for the Penn State Lettermans Club Gala in 2028.

We hope to see as many people as possible attend and enjoy meeting some new and current Penn State students, good conversations with Justin and Omar, and some good food. It is going to be a great afternoon with your Penn State family!!!!

You must rsvp to attend by 7/31/2026. However, Penn State Students and incoming students will be free
Parents and Alumni we will be charging $8 per person. The meal alone is valued at $20 and the chapter is paying for travel expenses of the letterman. Your $8 helps us to cover some of those costs but you will receive great value out of this event
