The art of a great headshot is more than just clicking the shutter — it’s about helping someone feel confident in front of the camera. 📸

For this session, I guided my client into a simple but powerful pose: turning the body slightly to the side while bringing one hand across the chest. This creates a natural shape, relaxes the shoulders, and gives the portrait a warm, approachable energy. The goal is always to highlight personality while keeping the pose comfortable and authentic.

My process is simple: create a relaxed environment, guide subtle movements, and capture genuine expressions in the moment.

Camera & Settings
Camera: Canon portrait setup
Lens: 85mm portrait lens
Settings:
• Aperture: f/4 for soft background separation
• Shutter Speed: 1/160
• ISO: 100
• Studio lighting with a soft key light for clean, professional skin tones

Editing Process
After the shoot, I refine the images using:
• Adobe Lightroom for color correction and exposure
• Adobe Photoshop for skin retouching and detail work
• Black & white conversions for a timeless portrait look
