CyrusOne has appointed Robert Hennegan as Senior Vice President, U.S. Operations.

In this role, Bob will lead our U.S. operations organization, focused on performance, reliability, and consistency as we continue to scale.

He joins CyrusOne with deep experience in complex, mission-critical environments, including senior leadership roles at Meta and service as a Rear Admiral in the U.S. Navy.

Meet Our Summer 2026 Interns!

We're excited to welcome our Summer 2026 intern cohort to CyrusOne, joining us across the United States and Europe.

This summer, Vaibhav Chemboli, VJ Singh, Jasmine Thomas, Justin Thomas, and Esha Ranjan will be based in Dallas, Texas, while Adem Chegrouche joins us in London. Together, they will gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful work that supports our global operations.

Across the US, this group brings a wide range of interests and expertise, from artificial intelligence and automation to data analytics, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and sustainability. Over the coming months, they'll work alongside our teams, applying their skills to real-world challenges and gaining insight into the technology and operations that power digital infrastructure at scale.

In London, Adem joins our Network & Infrastructure team where over the next ten weeks, he'll support network operations, learn how we maintain live environments, and explore how we design and plan for future growth across our global portfolio.

Investing in future talent is an important part of we build for what's next. We're looking forward to seeing what this group accomplishes, and the perspectives they bring to our teams.

⚡ Celebrating a major milestone at CyrusOne's FRA7 FRANKFURT WESTSIDE, Frankfurt, Germany data center campus. Our teams have successfully installed the first of five transformers being delivered as part of our brand-new dedicated on-site substation.

This first transformer is 80 MVA and weighs 95-tonnes and was installed following months of planning, engineering, logistics coordination, and site preparation. As a critical component of FRANKFURT WESTSIDE's power infrastructure, the transformer plays an important role in preparing FRA7 for energization, bringing the facility one step closer to supporting future customer deployments and delivering one the largest waste heat utilization projects in Europe.

Our teams worked with precision to safely guide the transformer into its final position. The achievement was marked with a small gathering, recognizing the dedication, collaboration, and expertise required to reach this point. Special thanks to Miriam Bombeck, Andreas Rathmann and Herman Wegter at CyrusOne, whose leadership helped drive this milestone forward, and our incredible partners including Griesheim GmbH, Stromkontor Rostock Port GmbH, Syna GmbH, Lanz Bau GmbH, Kolektor Etra (Energetski Transformatorji .), P. Schwandner Logistik + Transport GmbH.

At Datacloud Global Congress 2026 in Cannes, France, CyrusOne sponsored two people-focused initiatives that put talent, leadership, and connection at the center of the digital infrastructure conversation: Talent in Digital Infrastructure and Women’s Tech Forum.

Through Talent in Digital Infrastructure, students, graduates, and early-career professionals had the opportunity to connect with industry leaders, ask questions, and explore pathways into the data center sector.

Thank you to Alanna Hasek, Tom Kingham, and James Miller for sharing their career journeys and highlighting how transferable skills, early-career programs, education engagement, and community partnerships can help open doors across our industry.

At Women’s Tech Forum, the focus turned to leadership, visibility, growth, and stronger networks - creating space for honest conversation among women shaping the future of digital infrastructure.

Together, these initiatives reflect an important part of CyrusOne’s global commitment: investing in talent, building connections, and supporting more accessible pathways into the industry in the markets where we operate.

🤝 Every groundbreaking marks the start of construction. The most meaningful ones mark the beginning of a long-term partnership.

Yesterday, CyrusOne broke ground on our newest data center campus in Freestone County, Texas, US, alongside local officials, educators, community leaders, project partners, and residents.

While the ceremony marked the start of construction, it also marked the beginning of what we believe will be a lasting partnership with the Freestone County community.

The event reinforced our belief that responsible development extends beyond the project itself. By supporting education, workforce development, and community programs, we're helping create opportunities that will benefit the community long after construction is complete.

Thank you to Freestone County Judge Lloyd Lane, Fairfield Mayor Bobby Nichols, our partners at Calpine and Rogers-O'Brien Construction, and everyone who joined us to celebrate this milestone.

🌟And that’s a wrap - what a brilliant week at Datacloud Global Congress 2026 in Cannes, France!

Such an incredibly valuable few days for the CyrusOne team - spending time with customers, partners and industry peers - listening to what matters most and contributing to conversations about where digital infrastructure goes next.

Across the week, our team shared perspectives on some of the biggest questions facing the industry: how we deliver power at scale, how we support AI-ready infrastructure, how we navigate regulation and sustainability, and how partnerships can help move projects forward with confidence.

What stood out most was the quality of the conversations. Practical, open and focused on the real challenges customers are facing as demand continues to accelerate.

We were also proud to sponsor the Talent in Digital Infrastructure programme and support the Women in Tech Forum, helping champion the next generation of talent across our industry.

Electricity costs are top of mind for families, businesses, and communities.

A more affordable energy future starts with understanding what goes into the cost of electricity.

The latest E3 research identifies five major factors shaping electricity costs today:

Aging infrastructure
Much of the electric grid was built decades ago and needs updates to stay reliable.

Natural gas price swings
Many regions use natural gas to generate electricity. When natural gas prices rise or fall, electricity costs can be affected too.

Extreme weather and grid protection
Utilities are spending more to protect the grid from storms, heat, wildfires, and other severe weather.

Energy market and supply challenges
In some regions, power supply has not kept pace with energy needs, which can affect electricity costs and long term planning.

Inflation
It costs more to build and maintain the grid today, including labor, materials, equipment, and financing.

CyrusOne teams in London and Dallas, Texas, recently came together for conversations focused on mental health, empathy, and support in the workplace — a timely reminder during Mental Health Awareness Month that well-being should remain top of mind all year round.

In London, James Ford from JT Motiv joined our team for a Lunch and Learn, bringing an honest and practical perspective on mental health, addiction, and the realities that don't always get the airtime they deserve.

In Dallas, our colleague Jennifer Hess led “More Good Days, Together,” a session focused on increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and encouraging open, supportive conversations.

Together, these sessions reinforced how small, intentional actions, from the words we choose to the care we show, can help create more moments of balance, connection, and well-being for the people around us.

More good days together — that's something worth working toward.
