Every Friday in September, students can enjoy sweet, refreshing watermelon grown by M&P Produce in San Antonio, Texas. By serving local produce, Dallas ISD is supporting Texas farmers while bringing fresh flavors to our cafeterias! 🌱

During the 2025–2026 school year, Dallas ISD Food and Child Nutrition Services proudly served 26,713,407 meals to our students!

🥣 Nearly 9.9 million breakfasts
🍽️ More than 15.3 million lunches
☀️ Over 314,000 summer meals
🎒 More than 1.1 million after-school meals & snacks through our CACFP At-Risk Program

But these aren’t just numbers. They represent millions of opportunities to fuel learning, support families, and make a difference in a child’s day.

Behind every meal is an incredible FCNS team working together—from our cafeteria staff and drivers to warehouse, maintenance, nutrition, operations, and support teams.

🍎 Did you know about our After School Meals (ASM) Program?

The school day may be over, but nutritious meals don’t have to be! Through the After School Meals Program, students at participating eligible sites can enjoy a FREE meal or snack after school while taking part in after-school educational or enrichment activities.

No student should have to finish their day hungry. 💛

📍 Availability, meal service and participation may vary by campus. Check with your school for ASM availability.
