This one feels extra special ✨

A landing page I designed for my client (and former professor), Carole Maugé-Lewis, was selected as a winner in the 2026 GDUSA Digital Design Awards—placing in the top 10% of nearly 3,000 entries.

The project, “YOU and AI,” explores the evolving relationship between design and artificial intelligence.

Getting to create award-winning work with someone who once taught and inspired me… truly a full-circle moment.

Grateful to design work that’s not just beautiful—but meaningful and strategic.

Feeling so very grateful to have my work acknowledged by Graphic Design USA ! It was such a special joy to collaborate with my former KSU professor and use the skills she helped ME cultivate to serve HER - that was enough of a treat - but when she reached out to tell me that she’d entered the work I did for her website into the 61st GDUSA Design Awards Competition and that I/we WON an award of excellence for the website +UX/UI design category, I was overjoyed! Thank you and THANK YOU Carole Mauge-Lewis! What a wonderful way to wrap up 2024! 🏅⭐️

We just launched a stunning new Squarespace website for our client, MaugeDesign. The business owner, Carole, is an award-winning book cover and ebook designer. She needed a refreshed, modern, and organized online presence to promote her book cover design services AND her new book, “So! You Want to Be a Graphic Designer”.

From sketching delicate motifs on Procreate, and digitizing design in Illustrator, to endless color palettes and jacket mockups, every step was a joyous journey of creativity and collaboration. Southern Charm from the Farm Woodworking blends quality craftsmanship, functionality, and charm into the handcrafted pieces they build for home living spaces. From farmhouse beds to custom pantries, each creation is a testament to their dedication to timeless design and attention to detail.

After 3 years of starting their custom woodworking business the owners decided it was time to level up their online presence to showcase more of their amazing work and expand their reach into the surrounding communities.
