I don’t do introductions often.
Usually we’re busy sharing client work: brands we’re building, websites in progress, the pieces we’re proud to put into the world.
But today feels like a good pause.
So, hi. We’re Savannah and Dillon.
A husband and wife team.
The founders of Thoroughfare Design.
We started this studio ten years ago, right after college, not with a five-year plan or a perfectly mapped strategy, but out of necessity.
After graduating university, I was quietly battling a severe anxiety disorder. Entering the traditional job market felt overwhelming in a way I didn’t know how to explain at the time. So instead of forcing a path that didn’t fit, we created one.
Within a month, we booked our first website client.
Two months later, we had three more.
And truly… the rest is history.
We had college degrees... but not design degrees. So instead, our days looked more like ... late nights, research rabbit holes, books stacked on our desks, YouTube tutorials, podcasts on repeat.
Ten years later, we’ve worked with hundreds of clients to build brands and websites that feel meaningful and lasting. And sometimes, I still sit back in awe of what this has become.
We get to work side-by-side every day.
We get to create beautiful, thoughtful work.
We get to build a life together that once felt so far out of reach.
There are moments I feel overwhelmed with gratitude. And if I’m honest, sometimes still a little undeserving.

To this day, I still personally respond to every DM. We’ve grown, and we have help behind the scenes now, but staying personal matters to me. This business was built on connection, and I never want to lose that.
